Itinerary In Details
Day 1: Arusha – Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
Journey to the Calving Plains
After breakfast, depart Arusha and travel toward the Ndutu region, located between the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Southern Serengeti. Enjoy a scenic drive through the highlands and open plains.
Upon arrival, begin your first game drive across the Ndutu grasslands, where massive herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles gather for the calving season. Predator sightings are common, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Day 2: Full Day in Ndutu – Calving & Predator Action
New Life on the Plains
Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu plains with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness newborn wildebeest calves taking their first steps while predators closely follow the herds.
This is one of the best times to observe dramatic predator-prey interactions, including cheetah hunts and lion activity. The open terrain offers exceptional visibility and photography opportunities.
